Fantastic song from Bishop Allen. Great lyrics open to a series of interpretations. I like to think of it as a song about a lonely man on a plane reconnecting with life and realizing that he still belongs in the world. All he needs are the mundane interactions on the plane to make him feel he’s a part of the world. Everyone is so caught up in their own world and being individualistic and not realizing that we are all people who need love. I challenge all you guys out there to talk to random people and connect with society. I can’t exactly put my ideas into writing at the moment but i’d blog again after I deliberate on my thoughts.
